Minnesota Timberwolves at Chicago Bulls preview

Injuries: Wolves: G Randy Foye (knee) and C Theo Ratliff (knee) are out. Bulls: F Luol Deng (Achilles') is out; G Chris Duhon (knee) is day to day; G Ben Gordon (wrist) is a game-time decision.
Skinny: Foye said he believes he's about a week away from returning to games. He participated in about 50 minutes of practice Monday with the team. 'I think I'm about, I'd say, 90 percent,' he said. 'I'll probably take a couple more days of practice, or whenever they decide to put me out there. But I think I'm close.'
Coach Randy Wittman said Foye played well in practice but didn't commit to a specific date for his return.
-- The Bulls are 12-0 against Minnesota without Kevin Garnett on the roster. The Bulls have lost 13 of their past 16 against the Wolves. ... Chicago is 8-9 under interim coach Jim Boylan, who took over for Scott Skiles.
-- Wittman said the decision to send Chris Richard to the Development League on Monday was not related to the impending return of Foye and Ratliff to the lineup. Richard will play for the Sioux Falls (S.D.) Skyforce but won't be gone long. "We've kind of reached, the last couple weeks, a rotation that's been pretty good," Wittman said. "I think he's going to get to play six games (in the D-League) in a little less than two weeks, and then we'll bring him back up here. But he needs to play right now, and he's not getting the opportunity."
